The San Diego chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS held their installation in conjunction with their Christmas event. The room was decorated with poinsettias, candles, and a Christmas tree! It was gorgeous and if someone has a photo, please post it.
2004 President Christine Thoulion, 2005 President Edith Broyles and their leadership team welcomed an (almost) standing room crowd as they celebrated their past successes and planned for their future accomplishments.
Edith and her team surprised Christine with a slide show presentation of photos from events throughout the year.
All too soon, it was time for me to leave and once again Marcie Quarisa took care of me by getting me to the airport on time and even lending me her “stool” when I needed something to stand on!
After an uneventful flight (take-off, peanuts, pop, land) I landed in Oakland and was greeted by LaRay Spencer, 2005 President of the Contra Costa chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS.
After a brief stop to drop my bags and check e-mail, it was on to dinner. Joining us for dinner were Maile Collmer (2005 Contra Costa President-elect); Pam Thompson(2004 Contra Costa President); Cecily Tippery (2005 Delta Chapter President); Mary Jane Cambria (2004 California State President); and, Jeri Jorgenson (California Governor)
Did I miss anyone? I am doing this from memory.
We had a great dinner and got to know each other a little better. Remember ladies, no telling!
I got back to my room in time to catch the end of The Apprentice. Can you believe Trump fired Sandy and kept Jen? I was pretty sure it was going to come down to one man and one woman since this seemed to be the season for gender wars but I thought for sure Sandy would be the one. Now that it’s down to Kelly and Jen, I predict Kelly will win. If he doesn’t, I’m going to give Trump a piece of my mind!
