Begin your journey on the road to wealth through real estate by buying property.  Owning your own home is a goal everyone can relate to and now, more than ever, it’s within your reach.  Interest rates remain low and with an increase in available properties, now is the perfect time to buy. 

The oldest cliché in the book (location, location, location) still rings true but here’s my twist.  If you can’t afford the cheapest property in the best neighborhood, buy close by.  I define a “close enough” location as physically adjacent to a hot area. 

The trend in housing developments is master planned communities or golf course communities which often have clubhouses, parks, theatres, even private schools.  But being in such a community adds thousands to the price of the home.  If you buy a great home right next to one of these communities, its value will bleed into yours. After a few years you might not even be able to tell where one community ends and another begins.     

Don’t overreach on your first purchase.  This property will become the foundation of your wealth pyramid.
