Betty A. Kincaid, Certified Exchange Specialist, founded the former Southwest Exchange in 1990. The company dealt exclusively in IRS Code 1031 property exchanges, and helped hundreds of Southern Nevada investors save or defer tens of millions of dollars in taxes. Under Betty's direction, the company became the largest of its kind in the state.
She sold controlling interest in 2004. Since then, she’s worked with the Nevada legislature to craft laws that protect clients of 1031 exchange companies.
Betty sits on the board of Black Mountain Community Bank. She's a founding director of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Center for Entrepreneurship. In 2005, Betty served as president of the national Women's Council of Realtors.
